  We would like to give a big shout out to Joe Chaney and thanks for our invitation to the first “Chainsaw Invitational “ in Chattanooga TN this past weekend (21 June 2014). We had a great time and met a lot of new people. This tournament was strictly for dart throwers with a 15.9 PPD or lower for local players in the Chattanooga and Cleveland area. No Pros and no AA throwers were eligible to play.
   A lot of the lower ranked dart throwers don’t participate in the bigger events because they say they don’t have a chance at making money or even getting past the first round with the higher ranked throwers there. This gave them the chance to show off their stuff.
  The turnout for this tournament was more than Chaney expected. It would be great to see more of these type tournaments around. I believe if there were, there would be more particpation at other tournaments, leagues, maybe even the sport itself.
